If Katia can't master the test of time, she'll never be reunited with Landon.

My Thoughts

The Test of Time is the first book from Nicole that I read. I really enjoyed it and it was really amazing. It was unique and rare gem. Ms. Nicole blended paranoramal, history and romance to give such a beautiful novel. I spent two days reading this story and I can't stop reading it. I love all the characters. Their personalities suited them well.

When Katia started to time travel to Regency era when she stayed in the Philamore Mansion just in time for summer solstice, she met Lord Landon Philamore. He had seen her in his dreams so many times. They became closer, but Katia was really scared that all of this was only a dream. Landon confessed his love for her. When she waited for some time turned out her fear was confirmed. She traveled to several different times. Can she go back to the man that she loves?

Katia was an intelligent woman but she lived in guilt. She felt that she should had died alongside her parents. It was a terrible loss. I understand her fear especially when Landon declared his love. She didn't want to add Landon's pain since he had lost his loved ones too. There were times that she sounded a bit whinny and ungrateful, but it was because she missed her old life in which she felt needed. In this time, it was difficult to find job especially for women.

Landon was a caring and loving man. He let Katia made her own decision which made me respect him more and more. When he loved, he loved wholeheartedly.

The story taught me to live fully and learn to be grateful. True love has to experience the test of time. Time apart truly makes the heart grow fonder.

It was an emotional rollercoaster. Ms. Nicole had a way of making the reader want more. There were times I felt really sad then happy.

I really recommend this book to anyone who loves time-travel romance, paranormal and fantasy or anyone who looks for a reason to believe in love. You won't regret it.
